Black licorice, anything with coconut, and anything with peanut butter is a winner. I tend to enjoy off-beat and vintage candies more than the various chocolate candy bars and fruit-flavored hard candies that seem to dominate the market. They recently brought back Chunkies - I enjoyed it, though it was a bit difficult to consume, what with its shape and durability. I'm also a big fan of every variety of Altoids.

I got my brother a bunch of Beeman's for Christmas, and he was thrilled.
